The event, hosted by CS Interiors Magazine and International Interior Design Association, pairs interior designers and restaurants in a competition to showcase great food and great design. I have been matched with the Florentine, an restaurant in the Loop known for its "elegant yet accessible interpretation of seasonal Italian cuisine."

Monochromatic color schemes are often maligned and frequently misunderstood. Some people think that they can only involve neutrals. Others think that the selected color is the only option for the entire space.
